UNIwise selected as provider of a new and future-oriented system for digital exams in Norway

PRESS RELEASE

UNIwise is proud to announce its selection as the provider of the digital exam system for universities and colleges in Norway. Following an extensive and competitive procurement process conducted by Sikt, (the Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research), our platform, WISEflow, was chosen as the preferred solution, excelling in quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.

Key highlights of the evaluation:

  • Functionality: UNIwise achieved a top score, demonstrating superior capabilities in message centre functionalities, seamless email integration, and advanced grading solutions.
  • Usability: UNIwise’s user-centred development approach, including its design framework, ensured a universally accessible and intuitive user experience, earning a perfect score.

  • Other Requirements: The system outperformed in areas such as integrations, automation and AI, data security, user management, and accessibility.

  • Service: UNIwise’s commitment to high-quality support, rapid response, and strong user engagement was recognised as industry leading.

  • Total Cost: UNIwise offered the most cost-effective solution, delivering significant value at a lower price than the competitors.

This agreement marks a significant milestone in modernising digital exams across the sector. Norwegian universities and colleges will gain access to a cost-efficient, user-friendly, and highly reliable system with a strategic long-term approach to exam management. The contract fosters strong collaboration between UNIwise and educational institutions, ensuring transparency, continuous development, and dedicated support.

SEAMLESS TRANSITION AND IMPLEMENTATION

As part of the standard procurement process, the relevant authorities are carrying out a procedural review (see announcement from Sikt). Once the contract is finalised, UNIwise will work closely with Sikt and the Norwegian universities and institutions to facilitate a smooth and efficient transition to WISEflow.

A structured migration plan will be implemented to minimise disruption and optimise efficiency. Institutions already using WISEflow will benefit from uninterrupted service while gaining access to new and improved features. Institutions requiring physical exam scanning solutions will have access to a fully integrated service.

At UNIwise, we are dedicated to supporting Norwegian universities and colleges through this critical transition. Our mission is to deliver a digital exam system that enhances efficiency, security, and the overall user experience. We look forward to working closely with the sector to shape the future of digital assessment.
