WISEflow Originality by UNIwise Selected as Aarhus University’s New Plagiarism Detection System

UNIwise is proud to announce that its plagiarism detection solution, WISEflow Originality, has been selected by Aarhus University (AU) as the new system for text similarity analysis. Following a competitive Nordic tender process conducted in collaboration with the Royal Danish Library, WISEflow Originality emerged as the top choice, offering the best balance of price, quality, and functionality and ended up with the quality score 90/100.

Implementation & Configuration: Originality was rated ‘excellent’ for its mature project planning, robust testing protocols, and clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
Functionality: The system supports a wide range of formats and platforms, features advanced text similarity analysis, and includes a forward-looking AI roadmap.
Support & Collaboration: UNIwise was recognised for its fast response times, well-documented processes, and proactive guidance and training.
User Experience: Originality will be fully integrated into the familiar WISEflow interface, ensuring a seamless experience for assessors and administrators alike.
Strategic Fit and Future-Readiness
WISEflow Originality is expected to be fully operational in time for the winter exam period 2025/26. As Aarhus University already uses WISEflow as its assessment platform, Originality will be seamlessly integrated into the existing interface. This means assessors will experience a familiar design and be able to access the plagiarism detection system quickly and intuitively during grading. WISEflow Originality introduces enhanced capabilities, including semantic similarity detection, which identifies deeper textual resemblance beyond simple word-for-word matches, offering a more advanced and reliable approach to academic integrity.
