WISEflow given the green light by Jisc
In its latest ‘Step Up’ report, Jisc has given UK institutions the go ahead to work with UNIwise, praising the WISEflow assessment platform as having “the capabilities for implementation at multiple institutions”.
Published in May 2020, the report scrutinises businesses working in the higher education sector against key sector requirements in order to foster collaboration between edtech innovators and educational leaders. UNIwise was vetted in April. Jisc’s verdict? WISEflow “has clear metrics to evaluate the success of implementations, strong case studies, and excellent onboarding documentation and guides”.
The assessment covered everything from information security – including encryption, data storage and penetration testing – to accessibility, business continuity and service resilience. Jisc’s panel then reviewed the findings and provided expert opinion. This health check from Jisc, in partnership with Emerge Education, aims to reduce the risk of collaboration for institutions and support long-term change in education.
Steffen Skovfoged, Executive Director of Company Relations, said: “We are really glad that our UK-incorporated UNIwise office has been assessed and approved by Jisc. WISEflow is used by over 100 higher education institutions, more than ten of which are in the UK, and having UK-based developers, implementation experts, consultants and support enables us to support customer success immediately.”
