The Universidade Aberta story
The Universidade Aberta (UAb) is a Portuguese distance education university that was established in 1998, and has since been taking advantage of the most advanced technologies and methods of distance learning available. It offers the higher education experience to anyone, anywhere in the world.
Bruno Tavares, Chief Information Security Officer at UAb, has been at the institution for 13 years. UAb started using WISEflow around two years ago, during a pilot process, and has since expanded its use of the platform to a university-wide project. We sat down with Bruno to discuss UAb's use of WISEflow since the pilot. Bruno discussed WISEflow's API, and its value in integrating with UAb's Learning Management System, Moodle, alongside how the platform has aided the institution in maintaining academic integrity.
