# UNIwise > UNIwise (legal name UNIwise ApS) is a European education-technology company that builds WISEflow, a secure and accessible digital assessment and plagiarism-detection platform for higher education. WISEflow helps universities and colleges plan, deliver, mark, and manage exams across the full assessment lifecycle. UNIwise was founded in 2012 out of a digital-exam prototype project at Aarhus University and is headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, with offices in Manchester (UK), Skien (Norway), and Hamburg (Germany). Its platform, WISEflow, is used by higher education institutions across Europe.
