UNIwise partner seminar: two successful days of collaboration throughout Spring
UNIwise recently hosted another successful partner seminar that brought together our valued partner customers for insightful discussions, collaborative brainstorming, and strategic planning. At UNIwise, we gather our partner customers at least twice a year to align directions, work together on upcoming developments for the WISEflow platform, and bring strategic perspectives into focus. This seminar was again an invaluable opportunity to share updates, discuss current challenges, and explore the ways that UNIwise can further support our partner institutions in these turbulent economic times.
Every seminar with our partners raises new topics for in-depth discussions, in addition to some regular agenda items. This time the focus was on the economic challenges many institutions face, as well as updates on the partner-led development themes for WISEflow in the coming future. Here are some of this seminar's highlights:
Seminar Highlights:
Partner Updates: Each institution shared valuable updates on their current status, ongoing exam initiatives, and future strategic plans, fostering a deeper understanding of the partner network's diverse challenges and opportunities.
UNIwise Business Update: Our CEO provided a comprehensive update on UNIwise's long-term business strategy, emphasising our continued focus on the European region only, and our commitment to supporting partners through innovative solutions and enhanced collaboration as the cornerstone of our enterprise.
Roundtable discussion - The impact of budget cuts and challenging economic times at universities: A key focus was on the effects of budget cuts and financial pressures many universities face across countries and segments. This session sparked engaging discussions regarding strategic responses on how to change exams and assessments in the future and how UNIwise can aid in improving operational efficiency, as there is an urgent need to do more with less.
WISEflow Roadmap: Based on partner suggestions, presentations and discussion at the previous partner seminar, the Product Management team presented and discussed the new development themes for the WISEflow roadmap at UNIwise. These prioritised themes were presented:
Manager Efficiency
Author Efficiency
Device Monitor Efficiency improvements
Improvements to the Management of Group Assessments and Exams
Collaborative Advancements: We finally explored ways to enhance partner collaboration, including meeting frequencies and plans for the following partner events, including the next onsite partner seminar. This collaborative approach is crucial for driving continuous improvement and innovation, but some face limitations in travelling, so a more flexible model was agreed upon.
This spring, we have held one onsite and one online partner seminar – and are looking forward to the coming seminars in the fall. Besides these seminars, partners work closely with UNIwise on some of the development themes for WISEflow, providing valuable business insights and perspectives directly into product management and, at the same time, quality assurance that WISEflow is fit for the institutions.
We sincerely appreciate our partners' time and effort in preparing for and participating in the seminars and our ongoing collaboration during the year. The partners’ feedback and insights are vital to our mutual success, and we remain committed to providing exceptional value and support to all partner institutions, while hopefully continuing to showcase our commitment to accessible and flexible collaboration.
Join Us in Strengthening Our Community
The partner seminars underscore the strength and potential of our partnership network. However, it is not a closed club, and – if this has sparked your interest – we invite other institutions to join us in this collaborative journey. By partnering with UNIwise, you gain access to a wealth of knowledge, innovative solutions, and a supportive community dedicated to educational excellence and efficiency. You get to connect and network with like-minded institutions and executives, hear which strategic challenges or initiatives occupy their agenda, and exercise influence on what will bring the most value in future development.
